Job Description We are seeking an asset manager who will oversee a portfolio of industrial and logistics real estate assets concentrated in the Boston/New England geographic markets for a global real estate private equity platform. This role is responsible for driving asset‑level performance, executing business plans, managing leasing activity, monitoring operations, and supporting strategic decision‑making. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical ability, deep knowledge of industrial property drivers, existing relationships and experience managing assets within an institutional or private equity context.

Primary Responsibilities

Lead execution of asset‑level business plans for an assigned industrial/logistics portfolio, including leasing, capital projects, operations, and disposition strategy

Monitor and analyze property performance, including financial statements, leasing status, market trends, and budget variances

Build, maintain, and enhance detailed financial models for asset management, value‑add initiatives, and hold/sell analyses

Collaborate with leasing teams and brokers to structure, negotiate, and execute new leases, renewals, expansions, and tenant improvement packages

Oversee in‑house and third‑party property managers and vendors to ensure effective operations, maintenance, compliance, and cost control

Manage capital expenditure programs, including scope creation, budgeting, bidding, contractor management, and progress tracking

Prepare quarterly asset reports, investment committee materials, and updates for senior leadership and capital partners

Conduct regular site visits to assess property condition, tenant satisfaction, and operational performance

Track and evaluate macro and micro‑market dynamics including rents, absorption, construction pipelines, tenant demand, and competitive positioning

Coordinate and execute disposition processes, including broker selection, data room preparation, and buyer due diligence support

Regularly provide updates and discuss strategy with senior firm leadership to ensure clear communication and collaborative business plan execution.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required, concentration in real estate, finance, economics, or a related field preferred

5–10+ years of relevant experience, ideally within industrial/logistics asset management, real estate private equity, institutional investment management, or REIT environments

Strong financial modeling skills and advanced proficiency in Excel required; ARGUS Enterprise experience strongly preferred

Demonstrated track record managing multi‑market industrial assets and executing value‑creation strategies

Ability to interpret legal documents including leases, amendments, service contracts, and property management agreements

Effective communicator with strong presentation skills; able to distill complex information for stakeholders

Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities across a national portfolio

Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, performance‑driven environment

Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross‑functionally with acquisitions, leasing, finance, and operations teams
