Finance Operations Director
position which will bea highly visible and strategic role supporting a major division generating over $1B in annual revenue. This is a rare opportunity to step into a
divisional CFO-style position , working directly with executive leadership to shape financial strategies, improve performance, and build scalable processes in a fast-growing environment. Why This Role Stands Out Build & shape finance for a $1B+ division (newly created role) Join a company with ~30% growth over the past 5 years Direct partnership with division President and executive leadership Strong runway for career advancement as the organization continues to scale Backed by a debt-free balance sheet and significant liquidity Entrepreneurial, low-bureaucracy environment where you can make an impact quickly What You’ll Do Serve as the primary financial advisor to the Division President and leadership team Partner with operations to drive project performance, margin, and cash flow Lead monthly financial reviews, including variance analysis, forecasting, and risk identification Translate financial data into actionable insights for business leaders Support strategic planning, budgeting, and capital allocation Enhance reporting capabilities in collaboration with data/analytics teams Identify and resolve financial issues across projects and operations Act as a key liaison between division leadership and corporate finance What Success Looks Like Becoming a trusted business partner to division leadership Proactively identifying risks and solving problems before escalation Improving visibility into financial performance and project outcomes Freeing up leadership bandwidth through strong financial ownership What We’re Looking For 7+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting Experience supporting business leaders or division presidents (not just corporate finance/controller roles reporting directly to the CFO) Accounting experience in Construction industry required Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities Ability to operate in a high-growth, evolving environment Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field The Bigger Picture This organization is at a major inflection point, expanding rapidly across multiple markets and investing heavily in its future.
