Responsibilities

Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital selling using texts and social media.

Build lasting relationships with customers.

Provide the best service to customers on their terms.

Give honest and confident feedback about style and fit.

Seek fashion and product knowledge to build expertise.

Collaborate with team to keep the department customer‑ready: filling orders, stocking, re‑merchandising, price markdowns, and light cleaning.

Grow relationships by opening new Nordstrom Rewards program accounts.

Adapt to varying hours and schedules based on business needs.

Occasionally work or perform duties in a department other than the one hired into.

Physical Requirements

Continuous movement for 6–8 hours per shift: frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching.

Regular use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.

Handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, including reaching and lifting items above the head.

Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.

Compensation Hourly pay: $16.55 – $16.55 per hour, depending on location and experience. Position may be eligible for performance‑based incentives and bonuses. Additional benefits include 401(k), medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, holidays, and more. Commission varies by merchandise: apparel, shoes, accessories typically 3%–14.5%; beauty and men’s fragrance 3%.
