Overview

This is a great opportunity for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. As a Parts Counter Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting in the determination of parts requirements with customers, selling parts and providing order processing services. This position works closely with all members of the branch to maintain and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. The hourly pay range for this position is: $26.00 - $28.00. This is a non-exempt position and is eligible for overtime pay. Benefits

Assist in determining parts requirements with customers, sell parts, and provide order processing services; work with the branch to maintain high customer satisfaction. Process phone, email, and walk-in parts orders; manage orders and provide customers with order status updates. Effectively communicate product knowledge to customers; research customer requests to determine correct part(s); prepare quotes and provide product lead times and freight costs. Use computer systems to retrieve customer information, stock status, purchase orders, and make changes to customer orders; participate in annual parts inventory. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers; coordinate with the Credit Department regarding the credit status of the customer’s account. Operate a forklift to load and unload items; lift up to 50 lbs. safely and use ladders as needed. Assist and provide support to Modern Machinery’s Product Support Sales Representatives (PSSR). Demonstrate Modern Machinery’s core values and promote the mission and vision of the company; follow all policies, processes, procedures, and safe work practices. Communicate with vendors and manufacturers as required; process invoicing and match invoices to purchase orders. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers, including processing quotes, orders, and status inquiries. Education/Experience

High School Diploma or GED. Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, and Excel). Previous parts experience is helpful but not required. Notes
