Job Overview As a Cosmetic Sales Colleague – also known as a Beauty Advisor – you are the trusted expert our customers turn to for all things beauty. Passionate about both products and people, you play a key role in creating a personalized and inspiring shopping experience that builds confidence and drives sales.

You serve as an educator and beauty expert by offering expert advice, conducting product demonstrations, and providing tailored consultations, including makeup application and skincare recommendations. Your deep product knowledge and ability to stay current on trends allow you to introduce customers to new items that match their unique needs and style. Building lasting client relationships is at the heart of your role as you proactively grow and manage a loyal client base through consistent follow‑up, virtual outreach, and personalized service – always with the goal of exceeding expectations and achieving sales goals.

Responsibilities

Start each day energized, ready to make an impact; greet teammates, maintain a clean and organized sales floor, and review sales goals and new arrivals.

Focus on customers by offering a warm welcome, making eye contact, and creating friendly, personal conversations.

Maintain a shoppable space by refreshing signage and pricing, assisting with merchandise moves, and ensuring a seamless customer experience.

Finish strong by sharing loyalty program benefits, ensuring customers have everything they need, and ending with a sincere thank‑you.

Support coworkers with honesty, care, and collaboration to better serve customers and communities.

Strive for excellence by taking pride in work, achieving sales goals, and learning from one another.

Maintain professionalism and uphold company policies on safety, ethics, and customer service.

Qualifications

Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Clear and effective communication with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.

English reading and comprehension of employment policies and safety rules.

At least 1 year of customer service or sales experience.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build customer relationships.

Proficiency with point‑of‑sale technology and digital tools.

Ability to acquire new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits.

Consistently drive sales and client loyalty by maintaining an organized and shoppable space.

Essential Physical Requirements

Talking, lifting, constant movement, standing, and reaching with arms and hands.

Standing for at least two consecutive hours and lifting at least 25 lbs.

Stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders, and reaching above eye level.

Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Frequent use of computers and handheld equipment, including cash registers and transaction processing.
