Job Description A Day Porter is an employee assigned to perform the overall janitorial services operation at the facility and will be cross‑trained as a restroom specialist, vacuum specialist, utility specialist, glass specialist, light‑duty specialist, pressure‑washing technician, and floor technician.
Starting Pay: $15 an hour Monday–Friday Start time: 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Benefits, PTO, 401(k), and several bonuses.
Essential Functions
Follow safety policies and procedures without exception
Dusting
Dust mopping
Damp mopping
Emptying trash
Spot cleaning walls
Spot cleaning carpet
Vacuuming carpet
Cleaning restrooms
Cleaning glass and desktops
Performing other similar and related duties as assigned
Requirements
Must pass a background check
Ability to build relationships with management and fellow employees
Ability to stay on task while working independently
