About Us Blue Moon Estate Sales of South Orange County specializes in helping individuals and families navigate major life transitions—whether downsizing, relocating, or settling a loved one’s estate. We provide a full-service, compassionate approach to organizing and conducting estate sales, handling every detail with professionalism and care.
Position Overview We are seeking reliable, detail-oriented, and customer-friendly Estate Sale Team Members to assist with the preparation and execution of estate sales. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a dynamic environment, have an eye for organization and presentation, and take pride in delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Staging and organizing household items for sale (furniture, décor, kitchenware, collectibles, etc.)
Research and accurately price items included in the sale
Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sale environment
Greet and assist customers during sale days in a friendly and professional manner
Assist with post-sale breakdown and cleanup as needed
Qualifications
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Friendly, approachable, and customer-service oriented
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to lift and move items (up to 30–50 lbs) and be on your feet for extended periods
Flexible availability, especially on weekends
Prior retail, estate sale, or merchandising experience is a plus, but not required
