Flooring Salesperson

Great news! Schillings is currently looking for a Retail Salesperson with an emphasis in Flooring at our Saint John, IN location. This position is full-time with opportunities for advancement and offers excellent benefits. A typical schedule would be Monday through Saturday with a day off during the week. No Sundays or late evenings!
Responsibilities
Check orders/designs for accuracy
Create and ensure accuracy for estimates
Greet all customers (with a smile) as they walk in
Obtain and maintain product knowledge on all products sold in the flooring department
Know how to price all brands offered
Inform customers on features and benefits of all brands
Generate sales reports
Process an order, special order, estimate, and returns accurately and efficiently
Use POS efficiently to obtain any information needed
Maintain a general knowledge of all products/services offered by Schilling.
Education/Required Skills
High School Diploma or equivalent
Proficient scoring on all candidate testing
Persuasive and people-orientated
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong communication skills
Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook
Sales experience preferred
