AAA The Auto Club Group is seeking Insurance Sales Agents who can generate new sales, retain existing members, and grow ACG’s overall book of business through our multiple product offerings. You will be challenged to drive new business with competitive products and help retain The Auto Club Group’s 14+ million members.

Exempt/Non Exempt: Hourly
Sign-On Bonus: $2500 for new hires. To qualify, applicants must be new to ACG (not applied in the last 180 days). There is a 1-year payback clause if employment ends before completing 12 months. Details provided by Recruiting Team at application.
A Day in the Life The Auto Club Group is seeking Insurance Sales Agents who can generate new sales, retain existing insureds, and grow our insurance book of business using our multiple product offerings. You will be challenged to drive new business with competitive products and help retain The Auto Club Group’s 14+ million members.
Uses sales techniques and strong product knowledge to identify customer needs, generate new sales, retain insureds, and grow our insurance book of business
Effectively overcomes objections to close the sale and/or retain the insured
Work to meet or exceed targets as defined in the sales incentive plan and by the Insurance Sales Agent’s manager
Conduct insurance reviews for clients to identify suitable products
Use provided tools and underwriting guidelines to assess risk, recommend products and coverage, quote, bind and issue policies
Engage in market-based interactions at business establishments and other locations to solicit new business, build networks, and establish customer satisfaction and loyalty to the AAA brand
Respond to customer inquiries related to insurance, membership, and financial products

Compensation and Benefits A guaranteed hourly rate of $21.63 (annualized $45,000) plus commissions and bonus opportunities. This position is eligible for overtime.
Average earnings: First year $57,000+, Second year $80,000+.

Required Qualifications
Active Property & Casualty license or able to obtain prior to start
Active Life license or able to obtain within 90 days
Valid driver’s license
Must qualify, obtain, and maintain state licenses/appointments for selling and servicing Auto Club Group Membership products
Health and Accident licenses and appointments where applicable
Education
High School diploma or equivalent
Work Experience
1+ year of sales or customer service experience
Successful Candidate Qualities
Strong sales skills with proven lead development, tracking, follow-up, and closing
Advanced consultative selling with thorough product knowledge
Strong phone sales and prospecting skills
Excellent verbal and written communication with strong customer focus
Ambition, motivation, and drive
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and desktop systems
Excellent listening skills and ability to understand customer needs
Work Environment This is an in-office position. Employees service ACG members in-person and are based on site in an ACG branch facility.
