Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries and purchases.
Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized sales counter area.
Demonstrate in‑depth product knowledge to help customers make informed decisions.
Handle cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with precision.
Resolve customer concerns and complaints in a professional and empathetic manner.
Restock merchandise and assist with inventory management.
Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive shopping environment.
Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations.
Assist in warehouse operations for shipping and receiving when needed.
Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of retail or customer service experience.
Preferred Qualifications
HVAC knowledge preferred.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong math skills for accurate transaction processing.
Proficiency in operating POS systems.
In‑depth product knowledge or ability to learn quickly.
Friendly and supportive customer service attitude.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and multitask efficiently.
Physical ability to stand extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
Basic computer skills and attention to detail.
Team player with a collaborative mindset.
Problem‑solving skills to address customer concerns effectively.
Inventory management skills.
Willingness to become forklift certified (training provided).
Regular attendance and punctuality vital for success.
