Sales Assistant
to join our dynamic team and help drive seamless execution across client relations, market preparation, and order management. In this role, you will collaborate closely with sales leaders, Buyers and internal partners to ensure exceptional service, organized showroom operations, and accurate sales processes. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with excellent organizational skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to a collaborative, client-focused team.
Responsibilities
Develop and nurture relationships with clients and Buying Assistants
Assist the sales team in preparing for meetings and creating presentation materials, such as decks and reports
Manage order processing by accurately preparing and entering sales orders
Conduct market research and assist with competitor analysis as necessary
Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner
Coordinate market planning and logistics, including appointment scheduling and showroom setup
Track and manage samples, ensuring efficient inbound and outbound processes
Maintain the showroom for seasonal markets, ensuring samples are organized and displayed effectively
Requirements
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Able to build and maintain relationships with clients and team members
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with sales software is beneficial
Basic understanding of retail math and sales reporting
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Team-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Good listening skills and a willingness to learn from experiences

Annual Salary $55,000-$60,000
The offered salary for this position will vary based on role requirements determined by NYC Alliance, skill set and years of experience
