QualDerm Partners is currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Dermatology Medical Assistant to join our team in Wilmington, NC. As a Dermatology Medical Assistant, you will play a critical role in the clinical team, assisting with patient care and ensuring a smooth and efficient practice operation. Responsibilities

Prepare patients for exams by measuring vital signs and documenting medical histories.

Assist physicians during examinations and procedures with all necessary instruments and equipment.

Conduct basic laboratory tests and handle specimen preparation for laboratory analysis.

Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Manage patient appointment scheduling and ensure effective communication within the office.

Educate patients on treatment plans, medication instructions, and skincare routines.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms, ensuring they are fully stocked with necessary supplies.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant certification is preferred.

Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a related clinical role is desirable.

Familiarity with medical terminology, particularly in dermatology.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient interaction.

Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.

Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.

Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic office software is a plus.
