Overview
We are looking for a professional Estimator / Outside Sales Representative who understands that accuracy, communication, and process discipline are just as important as closing the sale.
This role is not about high-pressure sales. It is about being a trusted advisor — guiding customers from first visit through final installation with clarity, confidence, and professionalism.
Responsibilities
Running in-home and on-site estimates for garage doors, openers, and gate-related work (We will train; you do not need to have garage door experience).
Creating clear, professional estimates inside ServiceTitan (We will train you this software.)
Producing multiple estimate options (not just one price)
Capturing accurate measurements, photos, and job details
Explaining products, timelines, and expectations clearly to customers
Ensuring estimate approval, authorization, and documentation are completed correctly
Conducting required follow-ups after the sale
Acting as a concierge point of contact from estimate through job completion
Maintaining professional appearance, communication, and conduct at all times
You are a strong fit if you:
Have estimating or outside sales experience (garage doors, construction, or home services preferred)
Are detail-oriented and take pride in doing things the right way
Are comfortable working fully inside ServiceTitan (or are eager to learn and follow system standards)
Understand that documentation, photos, and accuracy are non-negotiable
Can explain value, not just price
Communicate clearly with customers and internal teams
Take ownership of your work and outcomes
This is not a fit if you:
Prefer handwritten notes or “calling things in”
Dislike structured systems or accountability
Cut corners on measurements, photos, or documentation
Want a script-only, volume-based sales role
Compensation & Structure
Commission-based pay tied to margin and performance
Commissions paid upon job completion
No draw, no salary — this role rewards professionalism and accuracy
Ongoing training, support, and clear expectations
