
Distribution Sales Representative

Salary Range encompasses hourly base + commission

"A Day in the Life" The Distribution Sales Representative (DSR) is responsible for providing necessary assistance with customer inquiries relating to the purchase of new equipment through the distribution sales channel. Candidates will be responsible for all quote-to-close initiatives where inside sales are not involved in the opportunity. Candidates are also responsible for working as a team with other distribution team members and the inside sales team to meet company objectives for profitability and response times. The DSR will have a strong internal drive, sense of urgency, and be an effective collaborator who is organized and pays attention to detail.
"What You'll Do"
Provide technical assistance for inbound customer inquiries relating to the selection of equipment and financial solutions.
When necessary, work with the OEM’s to determine correct configuration and customer needs.
Prepare quotes and negotiate pricing in compliance with established policies and procedures and complete timely follow up with customers.
Prepare quotes for TSR’s and AM’s when inside sales are also quoting equipment.
Maintain an accurate sales pipeline utilizing the company’s proprietary software and other databases.
Work with inside and outside sales teams to coordinate follow-ups and quotes as needed.
Provide information and feedback on competition and potential new markets.
Develop and maintain client relationships, both internal and external.
Process online sales orders as they are received.
Perform other duties as assigned.
"Must Haves"
Inside sales experience preferred, within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Technical work experience in electronic test and measurement equipment preferred, or other related electronics or telecommunications experience.
Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well under pressure.
