The Director of Process Engineering will lead and develop the on‑site Process Engineering team within a high‑volume manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for providing technical leadership and support to daily operations, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, process optimization, and KPI‑driven performance monitoring. The position requires a decisive, hands‑on leader who can drive operational excellence, ensure product quality, and maintain high standards of safety and compliance. Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Process Engineers Promote proactive monitoring, anomaly detection, and root cause identification Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and technical excellence Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with site leadership to drive alignment across operations, maintenance, quality, and engineering Build strong relationships to enhance communication and execution across departments Process Optimization & Performance
Establish and manage KPIs to monitor and improve process performance Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on throughput, yield, and reliability Technical Support & Problem Solving
Provide hands‑on troubleshooting support for complex process issues Lead root cause investigations and implement sustainable corrective actions Support plant systems with deep technical expertise in manufacturing processes and utilities Review and challenge process changes through a structured Management of Change (MOC) process Develop conceptual designs and specify process equipment requirements Partner with vendors and contractors to ensure successful and compliant project execution Support capital project implementation and transition to operations Documentation & Standards
Maintain and improve engineering documentation, including process flow diagrams, P&IDs, equipment layouts, and standards Ensure all documentation aligns with internal and regulatory requirements
