Overview Drive new and used vehicle sales as a Car Sales Representative at DARCARS of Prince George's County. Provide exceptional customer service, collaborate with sales, finance and managerial teams, and achieve sales objectives in a non-supervisory, commission-based role.

Qualifications

Strong communication skills with customers and DARCARS employees

Ability to speak multiple languages (Spanish and Chinese) is a plus

Demonstrated commitment to customer service

Comfortable using video tools such as FaceTime to assist customers

Ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions, and converse comfortably with customers

Previous sales experience preferred but not required

Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and perform normal job functions

Work effectively in a fast‑paced environment

Team‑player mentality

Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends

Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

At least eighteen years of age

Pass pre‑employment screening (background check)

Responsibilities

Conduct business in a professional and ethical manner

Follow DARCARS approach to selling, including:

Greets customers warmly and listens to their needs

Describes vehicle operations and features that match customer needs via in‑person or virtual meetings

Follows test‑drive procedures (requires correct identification and route)

Suggests optional equipment, features and warranties for purchase

Computes and quotes sales price accurately

Works with finance team to secure financing when needed

Completes all required paperwork

Arranges for vehicle delivery and registration

Addresses all customer concerns and ensures satisfaction

Maintain solid knowledge of brands, products, specs, pricing, options and standard equipment

Perform effective demonstration drives on planned routes

Develop and maintain a future prospect and customer follow‑up system

Participate in all required brand and DARCARS training

Utilize online digital retailing selling tools and video tools for virtual car buying processes

Collaborate with the General Manager to set personal income goals and strategies to meet DARCARS standards

Comply with all DARCARS policies and procedures

Other duties as assigned
