Sales Development Representative (SDR) / Appointment Setter
Reports To: Sales Manager
Industry: Uniform Sales (B2B)
Overview We are seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative to drive new business by prospecting, qualifying leads, and setting appointments for the sales team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys outbound sales, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to build a career in sales.
Key Responsibilities
Prospecting & Lead Generation
Research and identify new business opportunities using online tools and industry resources
Conduct cold calls (phone and in-person) to generate interest and set appointments
Overcome objections and create interest in services
Schedule and confirm appointments for Sales Representatives
Sales Support & Coordination
Prepare materials and research for first-time client meetings
Communicate all appointment details clearly to the sales team
Assist with basic design requests (logos, proofs) as needed
Territory & Field Activity
Travel locally for prospecting, meetings, and occasional field support
Maintain a professional image during all client interactions
Requirements
Strong prospecting and cold calling skills
Excellent communication (verbal and written)
Ability to qualify leads and handle objections
Strong organization and time management skills
Self-motivated with a results‑driven mindset
Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and clean driving record
