Location: Sacramento County, Folsom State Prison
Shift: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday – Friday
Work Type: Permanent, Full Time
Responsibilities Under the general supervision of the Supervisor of Building Trades, the Groundskeeper is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all landscaped areas of the institution, utilizing an incarcerated person crew.
Working Conditions Folsom State Prison is located approximately 30 miles east of downtown Sacramento. The grounds feature beautiful landscaping and friendly wildlife such as deer, squirrels, turkeys, and geese. Free parking is available.
Minimum Requirements Refer to Class Specification for Minimum Qualifications. Candidates must meet the specified academic, experience, and verification requirements.
Desirable Qualifications Willingness to create and promote an equitable and inclusive workplace where diversity is celebrated and valued.
