Job Title: Powder Coat Painter
We are seeking a skilled industrial powder coat painter to join our team for 3rd shift. This role involves hand painting parts in a spray booth for 6 hours per shift. The parts will be pre‑loaded onto racks, which the painter will pull into the booth for painting. Painters will wear a specially designed paint suit with an air‑conditioned helmet equipped with a light. Eventually, painters will be fitted for a respirator to ensure safety and comfort, although painting masks are typically sufficient.
Responsibilities
Hand paint parts in a spray booth for 6 hours per shift.
Manage pre‑loaded racks and transport them into the booth for painting.
Ensure quality and precision in painting each part.
Wear and maintain a paint suit with an air‑conditioned helmet.
Adapt to using a respirator if necessary.
Essential Skills
Experience with powder coating techniques.
Proficiency in using a spray gun.
Experience in industrial painting.
Ability to perform paint preparation tasks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with industrial paint prep is advantageous.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
