As Director of Engineering, you will take ownership of engineering performance across multiple plants and play a critical role in shaping operational success. This is a hands‑on leadership position focused on driving efficiency, reliability, and long‑term asset performance. You will partner closely with Operations, HR, and Safety to align engineering strategy with business goals while building a high performing team that delivers consistent results. This role is ideal for a leader who understands how to balance day to day execution with long term planning, and who can bring structure, accountability, and continuous improvement into a complex manufacturing environment. What You Will Be Responsible For

Lead engineering teams across multiple disciplines to ensure strong plant performance and reliability Partner with cross functional leadership to align engineering priorities with operational and business objectives Own capital and maintenance budgets, including planning, execution, and return on investment Drive operational efficiency through improved engineering processes, asset utilization, and cost management Develop and execute both short term and long‑term engineering strategies that support quality and customer expectations Identify opportunities for performance improvement and implement scalable solutions across facilities Establish clear direction, priorities, and standards for engineering teams while reinforcing best practices Ensure all facilities meet internal standards as well as regulatory and compliance requirements Analyze asset performance and develop strategies for optimization, lifecycle management, and replacement planning Build, lead, and develop engineering teams with a focus on accountability, engagement, and results Partner with HR to strengthen leadership capability, performance management, and team development What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or a related field 10 or more years of engineering management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience At least 5 years of leadership experience with a track record of developing teams and driving performance Strong background in manufacturing engineering with experience leading multi‑site operations Experience managing multimillion‑dollar capital expenditure programs Food industry experience required, with meat processing experience strongly preferred Professional Engineer license is a plus Working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office How You Lead

You are a practical problem solver who can step into complex situations and bring clarity You communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders You are organized, analytical, and comfortable making decisions in a fast‑paced environment You hold yourself and your team accountable while building strong working relationships You are comfortable traveling up to 50 percent to support plant operations This is a leadership role where your impact will be visible.
