Director, Finance Global Treasury Watlow is seeking a Director, Global Treasury who will be responsible for leading Watlow’s treasury function worldwide, managing cash, debt, banking, investments, and risk management activities. The role identifies solutions for cash optimization, currency exposure, and commodity price risk, while overseeing insurance and hedging strategies in alignment with Board-approved guidelines.

What You’ll Do

Lead strategic finance initiatives: Design and implement proactive programs to optimize cash flow, manage debt and investments, and support global business objectives.

Manage global cash and liquidity: Oversee daily cash positions, forecasts, intercompany transfers, and ensure sufficient funds to support operations worldwide.

Drive risk management and insurance strategy: Coordinate with brokers, legal, and finance teams to mitigate financial, currency, commodity, and operational risks, while maintaining cost‑effective insurance coverage.

Optimize financial performance: Analyze data to identify cost savings, evaluate investment opportunities, and implement best practices across cash, debt, and treasury operations.

Maintain key relationships: Serve as the primary contact for banks, financial institutions, investors, and internal stakeholders, building trust and ensuring alignment with corporate strategy.

Support global integration and collaboration: Work across international finance teams, shared services, and functional areas to ensure consistent policies, reporting, and execution of treasury initiatives.

Lead technology and process improvements: Identify opportunities to implement tools and technology to improve cash management, forecasting, and treasury operations efficiency.

Contribute to organizational strategy: Participate in enterprise planning, provide input to leadership decisions, and integrate treasury vision with broader Finance programs and corporate objectives.

What you´ll need to succeed?

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

10+ years of relevant experience in treasury, finance, or corporate financial management.

Strong experience in treasury functions including cash management, liquidity planning, debt and investment management, and risk mitigation

Experience managing global cash flow, foreign currency exposure, and cross‑border financial operations

Proven ability to lead strategic initiatives, financial analysis, and process improvements in a complex, multi‑country environment

Experience maintaining and managing relationships with banks, financial institutions, and external partners

Strong understanding of insurance, corporate risk management, and compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations

Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (Oracle or similar)

Demonstrated ability to collaborate across international finance teams and influence business partners

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced degree (MBA or MS) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

CPA or CGMA certification

Experience with project management and leading cross‑functional initiatives.

Familiarity with Lean Accounting, VSM, or other process improvement methodologies

Prior experience in corporate treasury within manufacturing or industrial sectors

Exposure to shareholder relations, dividend management, or pension/401(k) investment oversight
