Overview We are looking for a results-driven Associate Director, Data Science and Analytics to lead end-to-end analytics initiatives and build scalable solutions that drive business impact. This role requires a strong foundation in online media measurement and creative analyses. You’ll partner closely with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
Lead performance measurement of online media, both pre- and post-click
Collect data from various sources and analyze performance metrics
Create reporting with a clear narrative based on supporting data, complete with recommendations for optimization
Present findings to client leadership team and internal stakeholders
Create taxonomies and data structures that fit seamlessly into preexisting data architecture
Understand Razorfish data capabilities and how data fits into a client's overall strategy
Understand the breadth of data services and crafts
Lead cross-capability projects and build close relationships with other disciplines
Identify appropriate SME to leverage when needed
Data Strategy
Systematically identify key issues and objectives to prioritize for internal and client needs and gain necessary buy-in
Show thought leadership in bringing new, innovative, or different methods of elevating a client's 1) marketing goals or 2) data sophistication and maturity. An Associate Director will synthesize new learnings across teams that may help augment current strategies.
Understand how frameworks and analyses drive overall client business strategy

Effectively guide strategy and issue resolution using clear, thoughtful communication
Command client audiences and turn presentations into a constructive dialogue
Considered a compelling, organized, and energetic presenter
Cultivate discussion on a broad base of topics and promote junior team members to speak up appropriately

Structure and prepare well written, logical sections of different styles of deliverables without guidance

Help clients see beyond current projects to longer-term opportunities
Proactively keep the client 'in the loop' on industry trends and recommend projects based on those trends
Display professional, articulate, and mature presence in all aspects of client relationship building
Understand how to document and respond to client feedback and recognize when to escape issues or push back on a client
Gain client buy-in to new projects
Understand and articulate client strategy
Sensitive to client needs and concerns and act in the clients' best interest
Teach team to have sensitivity to client business issues
Tools & Techniques
Demonstrate mastery of data tools and platforms and techniques
Google Campaign Manager 360 (or an equivalent)
Meta Ads Manager
Adobe Analytics
Tableau and advanced Microsoft Excel
Ensure statistical concepts are built into appropriate projects, with documentation and transparency
Understand when advanced analytic resources / methods are needed
Manage/execute vendor assessments
Analytics Planning and Implementation
Propose and develop strategic outlines to learning agendas/measurement plans
Oversee program implementation effectively, ensuring measurement goals are met and KPIs are effectively captured
Assist with data infrastructure, managing complex taxonomies across platforms
Data Analysis
Hands-on data transformation and analyses
Insight Generation
Create a clear narrative, with recommendations for creative optimizations, backed by data
See and share long-term implications of insights and recommendations across several channels
Guide junior team members to build foundational reports, understand data implications, and presentations highlight relevant results and proposed actions
Presentation
Lead presentations, reporting on insights and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in data science, advanced analytics, or related roles
Proven experience with site analytic tools, such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, etc.
Fluency with online media infrastructure (campaigns, placements, ads, etc.) through Google Campaign Manager 360, including post-click analyses through both floodlight tagging and query string parameter tracking
Strong data organization, with experience creating and managing complex taxonomies
Expert-level experience with data transformation through Tableau and Microsoft Excel
Strong communication, presentation, and data storytelling skills

Compensation Range: $112,290 to $153,600. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met.
