Your future role on our team
As the office director, you’ll report to the Country Manager and oversee daily operations while contributing to the firm’s objectives. While leading our new office in Salt Lake City, your main responsibility will be to cultivate long‑term relationships with both existing and potential clients in the region. You’ll oversee office operations to provide clients with hands‑on, cutting‑edge expertise throughout the entire project life cycle. You’ll also work with BBA’s offices in other countries to align and support the integration of corporate directives.

An Overview Of Your Mandates And Responsibilities
Lead regional business development activities in the mining sector by seeking out new opportunities through networking or referrals Develop a strong and healthy project opportunity pipeline in the region Prepare annual budget estimates for the office, implement strategies in line with the firm’s strategic plan and assess objectives based on KPIs Recruit the most talented candidates, develop the technical expertise of teams and manage performance to maintain a high level of service Provide project, technical or business development leadership ~30% of your working time Rigorously carry out health and safety roles and responsibilities Ensure collaboration objectives are achieved with other offices, teams and departments, both regionally and nationally Promote an innovative culture and empower your employees to develop creative solutions that enhance the organization’s business practices Do your qualities and values match our corporate culture?

University degree in engineering or diploma in a relevant study program At least 15 years of relevant experience, notably within a consulting engineering firm Experience and interest in business development In‑depth knowledge of multidisciplinary engineering Experience in engaging and managing teams Excellent soft skills and collaborative management skills Experience in organizational development and in managing multidisciplinary work teams Fluent in English, both written and spoken Asset: ability to speak, read and/or write in Spanish and/or French Asset: knowledge of the mining and metals sector Asset: significant network of contacts in the mining and metals sectors, particularly in the western United States (Utah, Nevada, Idaho, Arizona) and Mexico An Overview Of BBA’s Total Rewards
