This Is Not a Typical Entry-Level Job This is a paid, immersive sales training program that prepares you to step into a full sales role in just six months. What’s In It For You Competitive Pay & Earning Potential

Training salary of $50,000 (June–August)

Post-training base salary of $60,000

Total compensation potential of $120,000–$140,000 annually, dependent on performance

What You’ll Be Doing After Training

Sell Employee Benefits products through broker and consultant relationships

Manage and grow a geographic territory

Develop strategies to win new accounts and expand existing ones

Participate in client implementations and renewals

Who We’re Looking For

Recent college graduates or early-career professionals

Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, Sales, Marketing, Risk Management & Insurance, or related fields

Strong communication, relationship-building, and analytical skills

Competitive, driven, and coachable mindset

High integrity and strong work ethic.

Additional Requirements

Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Review

Ability to obtain a Resident Life & Health Insurance License

Prior insurance or Employee Benefits knowledge preferred but not required

Compensation The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:
