Denver Territory Sales Representative (Full-Time, Field-Based)
Distillery 291 is looking for
high-performance sales reps
to own territories across Colorado ( Denver
and
Front Rage/Western Slope ) and drive aggressive growth for one of the most awarded craft whiskey brands in the country.
This is not a passive account management role.
This is a
full-time, in-market, road-heavy sales position
for someone who wants to win.
You’ll be responsible for:
Opening new accounts
Reactivating dormant ones
Growing revenue inside existing accounts
Building the 291 brand into bars, restaurants, and retailers across your territory

What This Role Requires This role is best suited for someone who:
Works
full-time in the field (~30+ hours/week on the road, 40+ hours/week)
Is comfortable working
evenings and weekends
for tastings, events, and account engagement
Can
plan and execute a strategic sales week
Knows how to
identify decision-makers and influence buyers
Is
self-motivated, disciplined, and accountable to performance metrics
Core Responsibilities Territory Ownership & Sales Execution
Own and grow a defined territory across
on-premise (bars/restaurants) and off-premise (liquor stores)
Open new accounts weekly and consistently build pipeline
Reactivate inactive accounts and drive reorders
Increase order volume, menu features, and product mix within existing accounts
Use CRM tools to prioritize accounts, track sales activity, and input account information
Hit and exceed
weekly and monthly revenue, account visits, and order targets
Strategic Selling
Plan weekly routes and prioritize accounts based on revenue opportunity
Identify key buyers and build relationships that lead to repeat business
Turn tastings, staff trainings, and visits into
orders and placements
Use storytelling, awards, and product differentiation to win against competitors
Market Activation
Execute tastings, staff educations, and consumer events
Represent the brand at events, including evenings and weekends
Build brand presence through creative, market-specific programming
Maintain strong relationships across all levels of accounts
Ensure proper product placement, visibility, and stock levels
Merchandise shelves, signage, and displays to maximize sell-through
What Success Looks Like

Qualifications Required
Proven ability to
close business and hit targets
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and required insurance
Willingness to work
nights and weekends as needed
Must be 21+
Preferred
Professional or educational sales experience
Experience in hospitality, spirits, beer, or wine
Knowledge of whiskey
Existing relationships with Colorado restaurants, bars or retail in territory
