Sales Support Representative

Position Summary The Sales Support Representative is instrumental in driving revenue growth by providing high‑level support to the sales team, streamlining sales processes, and helping identify new business opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sales operations, be highly organized, and demonstrate a proactive approach to supporting sales initiatives and optimizing performance.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Act as a key liaison between the sales team and other departments (e.g., marketing, operations, finance) to ensure smooth communication and effective sales execution.

Provide strategic support to the sales team by preparing quotes and other sales‑related documents.

Maintain and update customer records, sales data, and other relevant information.

Ensure that orders and/or requests are processed accurately and in a timely manner.

Collaborate with account managers to identify opportunities for upselling, cross‑selling, and expanding existing customer relationships to drive additional revenue.

Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues related to orders, account statuses, and other sales‑related concerns.

Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for revenue growth.

Ensure that all sales activities are documented and tracked in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce) to maintain accurate records and reporting.

Support the development of targeted sales campaigns and strategies designed to increase revenue within key verticals or customer segments.

Provide ongoing feedback to the sales team on customer pain points, preferences, and buying behaviors to tailor sales approaches for maximum impact.

Coordinate with finance and operations teams to ensure accurate pricing, contracts, and delivery schedules to meet customer expectations and revenue goals.

Track and monitor account performance, ensuring that client goals and KPIs are being met.

Source product request from suppliers through various channels.

All other duties as assigned.

Education, Qualifications, Skills & Abilities

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.

1+ years of experience in sales support, sales operations, or related roles, with a proven track record of contributing to revenue growth.

Experience working with sales teams in a B2B or enterprise sales environment.

Knowledge of revenue forecasting, sales pipeline management, and performance metrics.

Familiarity with automation tools or sales performance analytics platforms.

Strong understanding of the sales lifecycle and how sales support functions impact overall revenue.

Proficient in using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales enablement tools.

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.

Ability to analyze sales performance data and provide actionable insights to drive growth.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and operations.

Proactive and results‑oriented, with a focus on driving efficiency and revenue.
