About the Role As a Membership Sales Associate, you will be the first point of contact for customers, responsible for selling memberships, building relationships, and delivering an exceptional experience. This role is ideal for someone who is motivated, coachable, and eager to grow into a leadership position. What You’ll Do

Drive membership sales by educating customers on the benefits of routine wellness care

Build strong relationships with dog parents and provide outstanding customer service

Promote and schedule first-time visits to introduce customers to our services

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk environment

Ensure dog safety protocols are always followed to provide a stress-free experience for pets

On occasion, there will be direct hands‑on experience with bathing

What We’re Looking For

A sales‑driven mindset with a passion for helping customers make informed decisions

Proactive and coachable, with a desire to learn and grow in a fast‑paced environment

Strong communication and people skills to engage with customers and build relationships

A passion for dog wellness and safety

Retail, hospitality, or membership‑based sales experience is a plus

Perks and Benefits

Total Compensation - $24-29/hr.

Base pay is $18- $21 an hour.

Can expect $6-9 additional per hour based on tips

Tasks

Drive membership sales through health and wellness education

Drive key performance indicators – average ticket price and rebook ratio – through memberships, service add‑ons, and retail sales

Develop membership leads; Follow up with potential members

Answer phone calls, schedule customer appointments, manage customer profiles and records

Manage customer expectations; Resolve customer concerns; Retain memberships

Adhere to Scenthound sanitary and cleaning practices – keep the reception area clean and presentable

Working directly with dogs and performing services including baths, ear cleaning, nail clipping, teeth brushing, and ear cleaning on occasion

Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the Scenter Manager

Skills and Abilities

Confidence in selling services and products

Ability to connect with customers (both canine and human!) and provide outstanding customer service

Ability to practice proper dog safety and dog handling

Ability to perform basic dog services including baths, ear cleaning, nail clipping, teeth brushing, and ear cleaning on occasion

Ability to learn our products and services to educate the dog parents; speak to our values and culture as the basis for our services

Effective communication with team members and dog parents (in person and on the phone)

Independently solve problems using Scenthound values and culture as a guide

Attention to detail

Time‑management; Scheduling appointments efficiently

Accountability; hold oneself and others to Scenthound standards
