Waste and Recycle - Sales Development Representative

Commissions (Uncapped) = 10%-40% of profit margin About the Role We’re seeking a results-driven Waste and Recycle Senior Account Executive to grow new, profitable business with food and beverage manufacturers by procuring unwanted food and waste. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing waste management programs for companies that generate any volumes of recycling and waste. The candidate will work closely with these businesses to help them divert their recycling and waste tonnage safely and sustainability while considering cost components in their presentation. While part of the revenue-generating team, you’ll build relationships, uncover opportunities, consult, and sell. Your mission: connect with decision-makers, craft tailored solutions, and deliver results. This is a B2B role. The Waste and Recycling Senior Account Executive will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities: Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers Conduct presentations and cold calls to generate new business Increase gross margin through effective sales strategies Utilize lead-generation techniques to identify potential customers Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals Maintain a strong team player attitude and motivation to achieve sales targets Qualifications Proven track record of successful sales experience Knowledge of waste and recycling services Results-driven with a proven track record of increasing gross margin Strong lead-generation experience Salesforce or other CRM experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Computer literacy skills, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Project a positive attitude and maintain a professional appearance Upbeat, contagious personality and strong work ethics
