Group Sales Team Member
Ocean Breeze Waterpark, Virginia Beach, VA, United States
Assist the Group Sales Coordinator in all aspects of the group booking process from lead building, to make a reservation, to day of event execution.
Responsible for providing group information and assisting with reservations over the phone, in-person, or by email.
Contact existing group events to confirm reservation details
Coordinate ticket and wristband distribution
Assist with group events such as birthday parties, catered functions and other group related events.
Develop knowledge and understanding of the park booking system
Efficiently track and manage group ticket sales
Maintain a clean and safe work environment for customers and other employees
Provide superior customer service to all customers in a polite and expedient manner
Assist customers with all questions regarding Ocean Breeze Waterpark including facility layout and amenities
Follow all park policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Must be at least 16 years old Excellent verbal and written communication skills Approachable, outgoing and excited about suggestive selling Ability to accept guidance and supervision Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and leadership Be aware, attentive, and work well with others Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions while taking precautions, including hydration and sun-protection Physical Requirements
Must be able to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time Must be able to lift, carry, move, and/or position items weighing up to 25 pounds, team lift as needed and for heaving objects FREE Season Pass Free Tickets Park discounts on food, merchandise, etc. We also offer a retention bonus of up to $500 for team members that average a certain number of hours per week during the qualifying time period and work through a specified date. Details about eligibility requirements for the Retention Bonus will be provided at a later date.
