ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Provide prompt, courteous, and accurate service to customers who either visit the dealership or call by maintaining familiarity with all inventory products and merchandising programs; parts inventory and ordering systems; utilized and maintain parts technical resources with the most current information; and dealership credit policies.
Acknowledge customers as soon as possible.
Answer incoming calls, interacting professionally with walk-in customers.
Make outgoing phone calls to customers, to keep good customer relations.
Utilize computer business systems and electronic catalogues to search parts.
Provide parts invoices and obtain payment.
Process returned items by inspecting items, returning payment, issuing credits, re-shelving items and returning items to suppliers.
Maintain an attractive parts retail display area.
Enhance job knowledge by continually participating in online training modules and supplier training on new products.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma.
General Mechanical aptitude.
Familiar with automotive/truck components.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Enthusiastic: Shows intense and eager enjoyment and interest.
Team Player: Works well as a member of a group.
Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well.
