Job Description A leading provider in the textile and hospitality industry is looking to add a Sales Support Associate to their team. This company works with all types of clients and provides a range of products including fabric window treatments, bedding, quilting, roller shades, and custom designs.
The Sales Support Associate role supports a hotel-focused sales team operating within a 6–9 month sales cycle, with approximately 90% of leads coming in as warm inquiries through client submissions or RFQs related to products or renovation projects. The associate is responsible for maintaining frequent client engagement, completing roughly 100 weekly touchpoints via phone calls or emails tied to purchase orders, quotes, and follow-ups. Deal sizes vary widely, ranging from small orders to projects typically between $20,000 and $850,000, contributing to a team revenue goal of $25 million annually. A critical part of the role involves managing and referencing an internal quote log, which serves as the primary record for historical purchase orders and ordering details. Daily interaction is primarily with purchasing agents—larger firms that oversee hotel new builds and renovations and hold decision-making authority—as well as property-direct clients, who are smaller operators managing a limited number of hotel properties.
