Job Summary
Summary Housing Stability Specialists provide psychosocial rehabilitative skills training to individuals diagnosed with severe mental illnesses who may also have co-occurring substance use disorders and/or chronic health conditions utilizing a recovery based and trauma-informed perspective. Housing Stability Specialists operate in a dynamic environment, develop extensive knowledge of community resources, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and cultivate a clinical skill-set by forging therapeutic relationships with diverse community members. Interventions and services are typically provided in the community and require the use of a personal automobile and cell phone. Housing Stability Specialists work in partnership with racially and culturally diverse individuals to define and facilitate their desired life outcomes. Housing Stability Specialists participate in diagnostic evaluations and provide assessment of strengths, preferences, functional impairments and symptoms of psychiatric and/or co-occurring disorder(s) at regular intervals to ensure optimal and personalized services. Frequent service coordination with external and internal providers is necessary to support individuals in achieving independent functioning. Housing Stability Specialists may provide all or some of the following: deliver therapeutic interventions fostering skills necessary to manage symptoms, obtain/maintain employment or housing, or to obtain services such as school, medical care, nutritional assistance, financial assistance, transportation, legal assistance, and resources fulfilling any basic need. Housing Stability Specialists may also facilitate psychosocial rehabilitative skills training groups and/or utilize other evidence-based interventions or therapeutic modalities. Although staff members in this position are not typically LPHA's, staff members in this position are working under the supervision of an LPHA who provides ongoing evaluation and oversight of all assessments, diagnoses and treatment.
On‑call responsibilities may be required dependent upon unit protocols. This position may have additional duties associated with providing bilingual communication services and requires the completion of a language competency test.
Regular, predictable attendance is considered to be an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned. May require a flexible work schedule.

Education
Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree with a major specialization in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or related field. Master's degree preferred.
License
Current and valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Hours Full‑Time.
Workdays Monday - Friday.
Workhours 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary $24.18- $25.39 an hour based on education.
