Ideal: Led an end-to-end Epic Refuel program
Also being pursued by Polaris:
Candidates who have led end-to-end Epic net-new implementations
Preferably at large health systems comparable to or larger than Parkland
Logistics / Location
Must be able to be on-site minimum 50% of the time (Dallas, TX)
Ideal candidates:
Based in DFW area, or
Able to travel consistently without burnout over a 20 - 24-month engagement
Current Project Status
As of 3/17/26, Parkland is currently in “Step 4” of Epic’s Refuel checklist
Key activities underway:
Standing up user groups
Establishing steering committee -> currently made up of 3 C-level executives
Waiting on Epic recommendations for system improvements
Cassandra mentioned an estimated 400–600 improvements
Driven by:
Misalignment in “Gold Stars” (Epic maturity benchmarks)
System not being aligned to Epic Foundation
Historical Context
Parkland’s initial Epic modules date back to late 1990s
Broader enterprise rollout occurred around 2010
