About the Role – Server Assistant The Server Assistant supports Food Servers in delivering an exceptional guest experience. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight. Open availability including early evening, weekends and holidays is required.
Key Responsibilities
Assist servers in providing prompt and courteous service to guests
Carry full trays up and down stairs
Replace propane tanks for patio heaters
Change beer kegs
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
The above responsibilities are not exhaustive. Other duties, responsibilities, and qualifications may be required and/or assigned as necessary.
Wage Information The hourly rate for this position is $21.50/hr. This is the pay rate that Hyatt Regency La Jolla reasonably expects to pay.
Qualifications
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
Strong collaboration skills with colleagues and management
Excellent communication skills
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
Open availability including early evening, weekends and holidays is required
