The Auto Body Technician's primary responsibility is to provide an exceptional customer experience by meticulously assessing and repairing each vehicle to restore it to pre-accident condition. The technician disassembles, repairs, and reassembles vehicles, working closely with the team to meet repair facility KPIs and uphold the Boyd Group brand. Key Job Responsibilities

Ensure consistent execution of the WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan. Plan repair work, prepare cost estimates, and use tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers. Remove dents and minor damage; when necessary, mix and apply filler resins. Realign the chassis and frames to repair structural damage. Remove damaged sections and replace them with new or aftermarket parts, including glass and windshields as needed. Replace or repair interior parts as required. Weld and fit parts, then prepare and repaint vehicles with factory-specified paint or agreed equivalence. Attempt to complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles post-repair. Perform other related duties as assigned. Education & Experience Required

High school diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of a technical school program or a 3‑year auto‑body apprenticeship. Required Skills & Abilities

Read job orders and work independently. Collaborate with other repairers in a shop setting. Understand methods and procedures for vehicle body repair. Proficient in using the tools required for the trade. Other Requirements

Work safely in a noisy area with odors. Lift up to 30 pounds on occasion. Visually inspect vehicle damage in various weather conditions. Perform bending, stretching, kneeling, and squatting to carry out repairs and inspections. Benefits

$20 – $29 / Hour Flat Rate Flat Rate Compensation is a performance‑based structure directly tied to turned hours. If total compensation in a pay period falls below minimum wage, clocked hours will be calculated with a guarantee of applicable local or state minimum wage, whichever is greater. Compensation is commensurate with skill, education, and experience. This position may also be eligible for bonus opportunities tied to individual or business initiatives. AI Disclosure Statement
