Assistant Athletic Director at Camp Canadensis

The Assistant Athletic Director supports the planning, coordination, and daily execution of our comprehensive Athletics Program. This role helps deliver a safe, fun, and valued sports experience that emphasizes skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Key Responsibilities include... Oversee and manage daily operations of all sports programming, including instructional periods, game‑play / scrimmage periods and our intramural competitive leagues program. Support, supervise, and evaluate coaching staff and activity specialists across multiple sports. Organize and manage leagues and competitive programs, including scheduling games, managing rosters, and game operations. Coordinate logistics for intercamp competitions, including communication, staffing, transportation, and equipment. Maintain and manage athletic equipment, facilities, and inventory. Assist with curriculum implementation and progressive skill development across all age groups. Ensure a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for all participants. Remain visible and engaged throughout camp to support staff and enhance program quality. Experience in athletics, sports management, physical education, or related field preferred. Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast‑paced environment. Passion for youth development, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Position is located in Canadensis, PA from mid‑June to mid‑August. As part of this position, housing is provided.
