Job Overview
As the Porter, you play a vital role in the first impression of our community. Your work ensures that Villas at Sierra Vista remains pristine, safe, and inviting for residents and visitors alike. You’ll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and curb appeal of the community grounds, amenities, and common areas.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness of all outdoor areas, including walkways, parking lots, dumpster areas, and common spaces
Clean and upkeep amenities such as the pool area, fitness center, and grilling stations
Assist with light maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs and reporting maintenance issues
Pressure wash sidewalks and building exteriors as needed
Remove trash and debris from grounds daily
Assist the maintenance team with apartment make‑readies and special projects as requested
Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and communicate reordering needs
Qualifications
Prior porter, groundskeeping, or janitorial experience preferred
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Strong attention to detail and pride in keeping spaces clean and safe
Team-oriented with a positive, can‑do attitude
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor as required
