Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Take orders for beverages from guests at the bar.
Communicate orders through POS terminal immediately.
Deliver beverage orders promptly.
Organize and prioritize service per appropriate service sequence.
Prepare beverages according to standard recipes and venue specifications.
Fulfill service bar duties.
Check beverage orders prior to serving to ensure that they are correct, properly presented and that special requests have been met.
Follow given drink recipes when dispensing drinks. Garnish any and all beverages as needed per LEX Standards and Recipes.
Prompt and orderly preparation and delivery of beverage orders.
Keep cordial relations with team members and guests.
Execute marketing campaigns and strategies as directed by management.
Answer questions about our bottle service, beverages and other LEX functions and services. Inform guests of specials and menu changes.
Ensure proper rotation of all liquor, beer, wine and consumable items.
Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Knowledge of POS systems.
Experience in nightclub, bar and lounge operations.
Experience with liquor, beer, wine and bottle service menu; knowledge of drink recipes.
Ability of complex math and simple reading, writing, and task completion skills is required.
Must have the following skills: coordination, following instructions, memorization, problem solving, independent judgment, and decision making.
Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate.
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
Minimum one year experience as a bartender or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES
Must be able to maintain appropriate Gaming License & Alcohol Awareness card.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is constantly standing, walking, reaching overhead, bending over, and occasionally crouching during the duration of their shift.
Must be able to push/pull and lift/carry 50lbs or less frequently.
The team member will constantly have repetitive use of both feet. Team member will constantly have repetitive use of their dominant hand, occasional use of their non-dominant hand, and frequent light grasping motions. Team member will have occasional use of firm/strong grasping motion. Finger dexterity of both hands will be frequently required.
Constant use of vision abilities is required including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
Team Member may be exposed to extreme heat/cold, vibrations, slippery surfaces, odor and/or secondhand smoke.
