Maintenance Porter - Driving

Responsibilities
Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks following checklists and facility manager/supervisor directions.
Walk garage daily to identify and correct maintenance problems.
Sweep and pick up around entrances, exits, and stairwells; clean surface rails, booth, office, and rest rooms.
Empty all trashcans in garage, booth, and office.
Paint as directed to keep surfaces neat and clean.
Replace burned‑out bulbs and apply oil absorbent to spills.
Submit requests for repairs or maintenance.
Check safety items such as gate arms and tickets for proper operation.
Provide ticket and record gate counters to the manager.
Maintain inventory of janitorial supplies.
Operate automatic sweepers, scrubbers, and other equipment as needed.
Clear snow or ice from entrances, exits, or ramps.
Report suspected violations, safety hazards, or other concerns to the facility manager.
Practice the Three Keys to Customer Satisfaction and Five Customer Service Behaviors.
Assist customers and resolve complaints independently or with a supervisor.
Perform cashier, attendant, or other duties as required.
Maintain a neat and clean appearance and proper uniform during shifts.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; may require facility maintenance, electrical, or painting experience.
Valid state‑issued driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
Availability to work 3rd shift and/or weekends if required.
Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
Customer‑service oriented and positive attitude.
Adaptability to changing work environments and unexpected events.
Sound judgment and professionalism.
Physical ability to lift and move 50 pounds, stand or walk for up to 8 hours, and perform tasks such as climbing, kneeling, and crouching.
Vision requirements: close and peripheral vision; ability to adjust focus.
Salary and Benefits Salary: $22.00 per hour.
