Job‑Specific Expectations

Wash vehicle exterior, clean interior and exterior windows, and wipe down doorjambs.

Vacuum interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris.

Clean engine and engine compartment with steam‑cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents.

Inspect vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and poor mechanical operation.

Use proper eye, hand, and body protection when using products that require protection.

Fill vehicle with fuel.

Apply dressing on tires and tire wells.

Maintain showroom and stock vehicles in clean and presentable condition at all times.

Keep work area neat and clean.

Use buffer to detail vehicles.

Report any safety issues immediately to management.

Empty garbage into designated areas.

Open lot for business and close lot when closing; keep service drive clear and clean at all times.

Clean customer lounge area and coffee area at all times.

Maintain appearance of entire lot.

Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner.

Park vehicles in accordance with policy and under direction of Sales/Marketing to ensure that the lot is attractive to potential buyers.

Assist Sales and Service Staff in moving vehicles to ensure efficient dealership operations.

Responsible for adding and maintaining key tags and window stickers on all lot vehicles.

Drive vehicles to other dealerships for dealer swaps or to other vendors as requested.

May pick up or deliver customers as requested using dealership vehicles.

Complete additional tasks as directed.

Compensation Range By Position The expected pay for this position is $17.00 to $19.00 per hour and may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonuses or commissions.
