
Entry Level Analyst

Our Client, a Global Financial Services Firm, is seeking an Entry Level Analyst in their Jersey City, NJ.
Key Responsibilities
Process and settle deliver and receive orders across equities, corporate fixed income, and commercial paper trades through DTC
Ensure all trades meet daily settlement deadlines and adhere to operational controls
Verify trade details against broker confirmations received via internal systems (e.g., Sonic), including account numbers, quantities, and CUSIPs
Review and resolve discrepancies such as DTC reclaims and mismatched trade details
Escalate high-value or complex trade issues to management as needed
Communicate effectively with internal teams, brokers, banks, and clients to resolve trade-related issues and minimize risk exposure
Maintain and manage daily trade volumes in a high-throughput environment
Contribute to management reporting, including tracking and analyzing trade volumes and operational metrics
Identify process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and productivity
Develop a strong understanding of how trade processing impacts broader firm operations
Qualifications
Strong understanding of trade settlement processes, particularly within DTC
Demonstrated ability to identify, elevate, and resolve operational issues
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
Ability to manage time effectively and meet tight deadlines
Proven ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general PC skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
