Description/Notes: Job Description to include, but not limited to the following with the expectation that the band program will continue to develop, grow and excel: Teaching/directing solo and ensemble practice before/after school. Competing in band contests, festivals, and competitions that showcase the students' talents. Preparing bands for special concerts and performances throughout the year Managing band budgets, activity accounts, and fundraising activities Work with other district teachers and staff to create a positive and supportive learning environment for students to be successful. Qualifications
Must hold valid Texas Teaching certificate for Music EC-12. Must be Highly Qualified Job Skills/Experiences Preferred
Experience as a band director Experience teaching all-level music Experience competing in music contests festivals, and/or competitions Self-motivated Positive Attitude Salary Range
