We are seeking a skilled and reliable Framer to join our construction team. The Framer will be responsible for measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing wood or metal framing for residential, commercial, and/or industrial projects. This role requires strong carpentry skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications. Measure, mark, and cut wood, steel, or other materials to precise dimensions. Construct and install floor joists, walls, partitions, ceilings, rafters, roof trusses, and stairways. Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments safely and effectively. Ensure framing structures are level, square, plumb, and structurally sound. Collaborate with other team members to meet deadlines. Follow all workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized worksite.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Framer, Carpenter, or in a related construction role. Strong knowledge of framing techniques, materials, and building codes. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices. Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials and work in varied conditions. Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail. Commitment to safety and teamwork.
Preferred
High school diploma or equivalent. Driver’s license and reliable transportation.
