Job Coach
Salary: $18.00–$19.50 / Full Time
At ViaQuest Employment Services, we partner with local, regional and national businesses and school districts to develop and promote individuals with disabilities in the workplace. We provide work experience opportunities that help these individuals identify career paths and foster independence.
Responsibilities
Train and supervise clients who have developmental or physical disabilities to acquire the skills needed to perform specific job tasks, work routines and personal life habits.
Assist clients in performing their work responsibilities in a way that fosters independence, develop natural supports and helps to ensure retention.
Provide daily job skills training with a focus on community employment and inclusion.
Interact with all individuals in a way that respects the unique needs of all involved and provides meaningful outcomes.
Requirements
Experience within the field of special education, developmental disabilities or in a youth-centered field is preferred.
Professional, responsible, mature, and flexible.
Knowledge of food industry, retail, and hospitality services preferred.
Professionally maintain daily documentation.
Minimum of 18 years of age.
High School Diploma or GED required.
