Job Description Summary As Vice President of Marketing, you will work with the marketing team to develop and execute effective strategies aligned with business goals, with a focus on building brand awareness, consumer engagement, and supporting growth objectives. Reporting directly to the General Manager you will be an active contributor to the GoGo Squeez U.S. Leadership Team, collaborating closely with Sales, Finance, R&D, Operations, and HR within the U.S., as well as with global teams based at the Paris headquarters.

In this key leadership role, you will partner to implement integrated, data-driven marketing strategies utilizing consumer insights, advanced marketing technologies, digital platforms, and emerging tools, including artificial intelligence, to ensure strong brand relevance among American consumers. You will oversee the development of marketing campaigns and support the GoGo Squeez innovation pipeline as growth contributor. You will provide marketing expertise with the function of establishing strong ways of working, and mentor and develop your team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Market & Consumer Insights and Expertise

Conduct thorough, ongoing analyses of U.S. consumer, market, and competitive data to guide strategic decisions.

Build a robust foundation of consumer insights that support brand strategies, activations, communications, innovation, and commercialization plans.

Stay informed about current trends in consumer behavior, market dynamics, and media technology, applying these insights to enhance marketing strategies and initiatives.

Brand & Marketing Strategies and Plans

Clearly articulate the Brand Vision and Long-Term Growth Plan to achieve sustainable market leadership and increased market share.

Lead the development and execution of an integrated brand marketing strategy designed to enhance brand awareness, strengthen consumer and cultural relevance, build brand equity, and secure market share leadership and growth.

Lead the creation and implementation of comprehensive brand communication plans across all relevant touchpoints within the U.S. media ecosystem, including paid, earned, and owned channels, including consumer and retail media, e‑commerce platforms, proprietary channels, content creators, partnerships, and public relations.

Utilize technology solutions to develop and execute marketing initiatives, leveraging data analytics, mar‑tech tools, e‑commerce systems, and artificial intelligence.

Facilitate cross‑functional coordination to ensure alignment between Brand, go‑to‑market strategies, and sales operations.

Collaborate with Finance and Revenue Growth Management teams to establish and implement effective pricing/assortment/promotional strategies and margin optimization.

Define and oversee customer service strategies and workflows to deliver outstanding consumer experiences.

Innovation & Commercialization

Direct research priorities and development initiatives for new product innovation and renovation.

Oversee a 5‑year innovation pipeline aligned to consumer and customer needs. Within this, develop winning product concepts rooted in U.S. consumer’s insights and with strong unique value propositions.

Partner cross‑functionally with R&D, Procurement, Operations, Quality, Finance and Sales to deliver breakthrough products from concept to launch.

Collaborate closely with sales teams to commercialize new products and merchandising solutions that capitalize on retailer growth opportunities.

Team & Organizational Leadership

Lead, coach, inspire, and develop a high‑performing marketing team to build functional capabilities and performance.

Design and implement effective marketing organization structures and processes.

Optimize team performance to achieve growth and profitability targets.

Champion learning & development initiatives to build best‑in‑class capabilities.

Oversee recruiting, selection, and talent management for the marketing function.

Support team members’ career growth alignment with organizational needs.

Build and nurture strong cross‑functional and external partner relationships.

Collaborate with HR to drive talent acquisition, development, and workforce planning to support marketing objectives.

Operational & Financial Management

Partner with Finance to optimally manage budgeting, resource allocation, and financial planning for the marketing organization.

Develop, implement, and oversee the A&P budget in alignment with marketing strategies, business priorities and financial commitments.

Deliver financial targets through effective KPI tracking of marketing investments.

Monitor and continuously optimize the efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability of communication and advertising initiatives through rigorous KPI objectives setting, benchmarking and tracking.

Maintain data security and confidentiality in all marketing operations.

Identify, share, and implement best practices to drive operational excellence.

Skills & Qualifications Education

Bachelor’s degree required (Marketing and/or Business preferred)

Master’s degree preferred

Experience

Minimum 10 years of marketing leadership experience, including success demonstrated at the VP or Senior Director level or in equivalent leadership roles within Consumer‑Packaged Goods (CPG) or Fast‑Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), ideally in complex and fast‑paced environments.

Strong and significant demonstrated experience in the U.S. market.

Proven track record building and growing brands and businesses.

Extensive experience leading teams and managing large‑scale projects.

Demonstrated ability to operate in global and multicultural settings.

Experience in the food industry is highly valued.

Leadership & Team Management

Exceptional people leadership and mentorship skills, with a proven ability to build, develop, and retain high‑performing teams.

Outstanding communication and presentation capabilities; adept at tailoring messages to diverse audiences from frontline staff to senior executives.

Marketing & Business Skills

Excellence in Brand Building skills and expertise (Positioning, consumer targeting, innovation, brand equity etc.)

Deep and comprehensive knowledge of and experience with the American media and activation ecosystem.

Strong expertise in data, mar‑Tech and e‑commerce tools. Marketing AI tools expertise is highly valued.

Mastery of best‑in‑class marketing processes, with strategic and operational ability to drive organizational efficiency.

Working Conditions Work is performed largely in an office environment. Hours of work will generally be during regular business hours with at least 40 hours a week. At times there will be some variation in work hours due to special projects, deadlines and other concerns. Up to 25% business travel may be required.

Total Rewards

Base Salary: $260,000 - $280,000

Bonus Opportunity: 30%
