
New Homes Business Analyst, Sales Operations

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a Sales Operations Business Analyst to join the Qcells New Homes team, supporting Salesforce development across the broader department and delivering data-driven insights for the Business Development team. This role is responsible for conducting complex operational analyses, building scalable reporting solutions, and enabling informed decision-making across the business. The ideal candidate brings experience in the new homes or residential solar industry, along with strong analytical capabilities and a process improvement mindset. This position will be based in Irvine, CA; San Francisco, CA; or Teaneck, NJ, with an in-office work schedule determined by the hiring manager and in alignment with company policy. Remote work may be considered in select cases.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify opportunities to improve business processes, operational efficiency, and reporting accuracy across the New Homes business. Support the implementation, configuration, and optimization of Salesforce and related systems to align with business needs. Analyze workflows, identify gaps, and implement scalable solutions to drive continuous improvement. Evaluate current operational procedures and recommend enhancements aligned with best practices. Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reporting tools within Salesforce and Excel. Deliver routine and ad hoc reporting to support Business Development and leadership decision-making. Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Finance, and other internal teams on key initiatives. Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear and actionable format. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, with 5+ years of professional experience, including 3+ years in renewable energy and/or new home construction. Proven ability to develop, execute, and drive strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Experience working with multiple systems and platforms, including Salesforce, JIRA, NetSuite, or similar tools. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilitie s , with high attention to detail and the ability to adapt to changing business needs. Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, capable of thriving in a high-growth, dynamic environment. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience supporting Salesforce development, configuration, or system optimization, including automation and reporting enhancements. Advanced proficiency in data analysis and modeling using Excel (forecasting, scenario analysis, large dataset management). Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker. Familiarity with sales operations, business planning, or revenue operations (RevOps) functions. Experience working within a residential solar, homebuilder, or new homes ecosystem, including partnerships with builders or developers. Exposure with financial modeling, ROI analysis, and business case development. Experience working with ERP or operational systems such as NetSuite or similar platforms. Proven ability to translate complex data into executive-level insights and presentations. Experience in a high-growth or scaling organization, supporting process standardization and operational maturity. Certification or training in data analytics, business analysis, or process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma). Hanwha Q CELLS America Inc.
