The Grant Writer at NOW Connection is responsible for researching, writing, and managing grant proposals to secure funding that supports the organization's mission of promoting healthy communities through food education, garden-based learning, environmental sustainability, and health equity initiatives. This role involves identifying potential funding opportunities, developing compelling proposals, and maintaining relationships with funders. The Grant Writer will collaborate closely with financial staff, and the leadership team to ensure successful grant submissions and compliance with reporting requirements. This position plays a critical role in advancing NOW Connections’ strategic goals and expanding its impact in the San Antonio community.

Grant Research & Identification:
Research and identify potential grant opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and corporations.
Maintain a database of upcoming grant deadlines and funding cycles relevant to NOW Connections’ mission and programs.
