Position Summary
The Playbook Sports Bar Server is responsible for providing attentive, knowledgeable, and personalized service to guests, ensuring an exceptional dining experience in a high‑end sports bar setting. This role involves taking accurate food and beverage orders, offering menu recommendations with a focus on gourmet bites and beverage pairings, and delivering orders promptly and correctly. The Food Server must maintain a professional, polished demeanor, anticipate guest needs, and work closely with the culinary and service teams to uphold the restaurant’s standards of excellence.
Essential Functions
Responsible for redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while living, supporting, and promoting our values.
Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of all food and beverage offerings to be able to explain the menu to guests with confidence and enthusiasm.
Follow the steps of service as outlined by the department on a consistent basis.
Take accurate food and beverage orders, including recommendations for gourmet bites and beverage pairings.
Proficient use of the POS system.
Deliver food and beverages promptly, ensuring correct orders and presentation.
Provide attentive, friendly, and personalized service throughout the dining experience.
Maintain an organized and clean work area, including the dining room and service stations.
Anticipate guest needs and address any concerns or requests in a timely manner.
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and accurate orders.
Process payments accurately and handle cash or credit transactions following company procedures.
Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
Assist with setting up and breaking down the dining area as assigned.
