Job Description

We’re looking for a Social Media Specialist and Content Producer to turn Helix's social presence into a strategic growth channel amplifying our narrative, elevating executive voices, and driving measurable engagement with enterprise IT buyers.

This role blends hands‑on content creation with performance‑driven optimization, ensuring our social programs contribute to awareness, pipeline influence, and brand authority.

The ideal candidate is a strong & polished communicator, has a sharp understanding of social media trends, and can maintain brand voice while driving meaningful engagement.

Technical writing ability and experience with video production/editing as well as an understanding of paid social are strong advantages.

Required Skills

Content Management & Publishing

Develop, schedule, and publish content across core social platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Reddit, YouTube)

Write clear, on brand copy tailored to each platform, audience, and objective (brand, exec social, evangelist)

Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to support integrated campaigns, develop assets, and approve content

Maintain a social calendar and adjust posting schedules as needed Strategy & Optimization

Build and scale executive social presence (e.g., CIO/C‑suite narratives), including content strategy, ghostwriting support, and performance tracking

Execute ongoing platform strategies to grow reach, engagement, and follower quality

Translate company-level messaging (e.g., AI, ServiceOps, IT economics) into social narratives that resonate with CIO, CTO, and IT leadership audiences

Identify trends, cultural moments, and industry dynamics that present opportunities for the brand

Help define and optimize audience journey across multi‑channel digital touchpoints as part of integrated campaigns

Optimize content based on performance insights and best practices Analytics & Reporting Track key metrics across platforms and deliver weekly or monthly performance reports Track contribution to business outcomes (e.g., traffic quality, pipeline influence, executive engagement), not just engagement metrics

Provide insights and recommendations to improve content, engagement, and campaign effectiveness

Monitor competitor activity and industry benchmarks Paid Social Support

Coordinate with media teams on audience targeting, creative needs, and performance tracking

Review technical specifications and ensure ads meet platform requirements

Desired Skills

2+ years' experience in social media management, communications/PR, and/or content strategy

Strong writing and editing skills, including technical or product focused copy

Proven experience managing multiple social platforms for a brand or organization

Solid understanding of platform best practices, algorithms, and emerging trends

Experience with scheduling tools (e.g., Sprout, Hootsuite, Later, Sprinklr, or native platforms)

Experience in B2B marketing (Software/SaaS preferred)

Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and communicate clearly

Preferred Qualifications

Strong experience in social first video production, including short form formats native to Shorts/YouTube, and other emerging platforms

Ability to interpret social analytics and turn insights into actionable recommendations

Basic design skills (Canva, Adobe Express, etc.)

Comfortable working cross functionally with marketing, creative, and leadership teams

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
