
Companion Animal Senior Territory Representative - South Bend, Indiana

Job Summary
Senior Territory Representatives interact face‑to‑face with our customers, understand their needs, and consult to offer the right solutions. They work collaboratively in field sales teams and play a critical role in supporting our customer‑centric business model. This position covers the South Bend, Mishawaka, and Valparaiso, Indiana territory and primarily focuses on veterinary clinics, shelter facilities, and corporate accounts to promote our Companion Animal product portfolio.
Essential Accountabilities
Communicates our product portfolio in a meaningful way, customizing discussions to each customer’s needs.
Acts as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, meeting key decision‑makers to understand practice structure and identify business opportunities.
Develops customer strategy and territory/account plans, partnering with National Account Managers, Corporate Account Team, and Distribution Field Partners to drive occupancy and sales growth.
Collaborates across species teams to enhance knowledge of the entire Animal Health product portfolio.
Shares insights with other region team members to foster growth and development.
Analyzes monthly sales results and manages expenses within budget guidelines.
Identifies programs and services that address customer needs, providing education and training opportunities.
Works with leadership and Field Professional Services to develop and deliver relevant offerings.
Maintains up‑to‑date knowledge of Product, industry trends, and competitor landscape.
Articulates and communicates customer, industry, product, and market trends within the organization.
Develops and meets learning and development objectives agreed upon with leadership.

Background & Education Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of sales experience, or a high school diploma with at least 10 years of sales or equivalent experience.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Demonstrated motivation and focus on achieving measurable, tangible results.
Commitment to collaboration as the normal mode of working and resolving problems.
Understanding of how positions contribute to business goals and willingness to adopt changes.
Ability to independently understand evolving customer needs and align with customer organization culture.
Effective application of selling techniques and ability to manage multiple customers/accounts across all sales stages.
Demonstrated ability to identify, develop, and manage a diverse mix of accounts, including complex accounts, and develop plans based on unique opportunities.
Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and iPad use.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to travel overnight and occasionally over weekends.
Preferred Skills & Abilities
Sales experience and/or experience within the Animal Health industry.
Knowledge of animal health biological and pharmaceutical products.
Understanding or prior experience working with Distribution.
Multilingual fluency preferred, particularly in Spanish.

Salary $96,200.00 – $151,400.00
